Nathan Stanley leading a loose concert

WHEELERSBURG – A two-time Grammy-nominated country music artist is scheduled to perform friday in Scioto County.

Nathan Stanley, grandson of Ralph Stanley, who has recorded with artists such as Ricky Skaggs, Brad Paisley and Patty Loveless, according to his online biography. Stanley has released nine solo albums to his success. In 2011, the song “White Dove” Stanley with Vince Grill named the #1 song on Inspirational Country Music.

Stanley and his band will perform at the LWAC Theatre at 8805 Ohio River RD in Wheelersburg, Ohio. The concert will begin on Friday, August 6 at 7 p. m. and admission is free.

A non-profit organization, Living With A Cause sponsors the event.

“Our not unusual effort is to do things for others,” said Mike Gifford, president of Living With A Cause, “Our schedule is totally focused on others. “Gifford said all proceeds raised will go to a user who needs them.

In October 2014, after signing a recording contract with Willow Creek Records in Nashville, Tennessee, Stanley’s Every Mile set the stage for its first GMA Dove award nomination and its victory for “Bluegrass Album of the Year”.

Stanley is said to have played for the Queen of England on her majesty’s scale in the state of Virginia in 2006. He made his debut at the age of two at the same level as his grandfather at the Grand Ole Opry.
