The Karnofsky served as Armstrong’s home of the moment as he rose through the ranks of the jazz world. The musician frequented The Karnosky to eat with the owners of the house and thought it was the place of his house of the moment. The Karnoskys even lent Armstrong cash to buy his first trumpet. Although the historic site has not been more productive in the more than two years, plans to renovate construction in 2019 had been announced.
