October is Music Month in Memphis!MMM was introduced in 2011 through local music activist Pat Mitchell Worley. Se tries to support our Memphis artists, musicians and concert halls.
Here are nine tactics for participating in a Memphis Music Month birthday party in 2021, usually concert series and music festivals.

GPAC hosts concerts every Thursday from 5:30 p. m to 8 p. m. Every week, enjoy a local organization or artist, a local food truck, and a pay bar. Admission is $5 for adults and loose for youth ages 0 to 17. years. Check the program.

Shell is two Delta blues nights on October 7 and 8 (a Thursday and a Friday). Thursday night’s exhibit, starring Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Cedric Burnside, Alvin Youngblood Hart is a paid event. Buy your tickets online as soon as possible. Friday night’s exhibit features Blind Mississippi Morris and is free.
If you like Memphis music, you can’t miss the annual Tambourine Bash, in favor of Music Export Memphis. I mean it! This occasion includes memphis’ most productive musicians forming incredible teams: Marcella Simien, David Parks and D’vonna Taylor perform together; The Wealthy West Bailey Bigger Sensational Barnes Brothers perform together; DJ Bizzle Bluebland has the DJ supersets in between. Buy your tickets as soon as you can before they sell out.
