KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany – With so many organizations and Americans helping in the Afghanistan evacuation project at ramstein air base and the Rhine munitions barracks here, it’s no wonder that the ripple effect of all this aid is being felt in the Kaiserslautern military community.
A wave, which is a wave, affects the driving force control and education station of the Rhineland-Palatinate logistics preparation center. “We are the only other driving force test and education station within the KMC,” said Jeffrey G. Morrison, Facilities Transport Manager, LRC Rheinland-Pfalz, 405th AFSB.
LRC Rheinland-Pfalz’s Driver Training and Test Station now supports the army and air force worker corps and their circle of family members at the KMC for all of their test education and motive force needs, Morrison said.
“The overall effect in the past 14 days? We have a higher workload by 76 percent,” Morrison said. “And that includes several missions. “
The LRC Rheinland-Pfalz’s driving force control and education station is guilty of validating that all newly arrived workers have completed the required education and driving checks. In addition, they are guilty of all license renewals and replacements, provide data and memos to the KMC worker corps interested in obtaining foreign driver’s licenses, and organize non-tactical car education and verification, as well as motorcycle education and testing.
“They’re doing a remarkable job of offering all of that to the KMC,” Morrison said. “There have been many comments from the Air Force Worker Corps over the more than two weeks congratulating them for doing their best. “
