Lane 7 implemented for the construction of a bowling alley and a go-kart track at the former TJ Hughes construction in Captain Cook Square.
It’s part of a £9 million regeneration of Captain Cook Square, which Middlesbrough City Council acquired for £8 million earlier this year, to turn it into a recreation centre in the city centre.
According to the plan-making request, there will be 14 bowling alleys alongside other playgrounds.

The plans show that next to the bowling alley there will be a bar, ping-pong tables, pool tables, a shun or beer-pong play area and darts or shooting capsules.
Upstairs there will be a games room and the go-kart track will surround a mini-golf course, a bar and a seating area.
The new recreational complex is expected to create 40 jobs in Middlesbrough with full-time and part-time positions.
You have already submitted a license application to ask the council for permission to stay open until 2 a. m. o. , every night.
Lane 7 lately has a site on Albert Road where there is a bowling alley, an American swimming pool, old-fashioned game rooms and a ping-pong table.
The boutique bowling company also has locations in Newcastle, Birmingham, Aberdeen, Liverpool, Bristol, Manchester and Edinburgh.
News will soon arrive in Glasgow, Dublin, Nottingham, Belfast, Cardiff and York.
Previously, Mayor Andy Preston committed to Captain Cook Square in “the largest regional recreation center. “
Other proposals that are proposed for the neighborhood, walking through the bowling alley, come with a “movie shop” and a brewery.
