The cash will gain advantages for the citizens of Waverly and surrounding areas, as well as local small businesses, according to the statement.

Loretta Lynn’s ranch, a campground and special occasion location in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, a component of Humphreys County, was severely flooded on Aug. 17 when up to 17 inches of rain hit the area. Lynn’s ranch foreman, Wayne Spears, died in the floods.

Lynn, 89, did appear as a user at Monday’s concert, but talked about Spears in a pre-recorded video.

“He’s been our cowboy,” he said. I know everyone already misses him.
