To celebrate the month of Halloween, NECA showed new things each and every day of October on social media; sometimes, they just showed a new packaging. Others, a completely new figure. But they saved one of the biggest ones for last. The release of a new line of figures from The Last of Us Part II is a pack of two Joel and Ellie. Apocalyptic landscape, they are loaded with weapons.
In The Last of Us Part II, Ellie sets out to take revenge on the Washington Liberation Front. As you navigate a populated world through “clickers” inflamed by fungi that behave like cannibalistic zombies. Joel’s role in all of this is, frankly, a little bit. of a spoiler for anyone who is still very complex in the game. But the miniatures game is also aimed at enthusiasts of the first game. And certainly similar to the upcoming TV miniseries.
This double-digit “Ultimate” set, now available for pre-order, will charge $74. 99. It’s scheduled for March, probably just when the HBO series starring Pedro Pascal arrives. According to its description, “Each figure has more than 30 articulation problems and comes with exact accessories on the screen: it includes axe, machetes, rifles, knives, pistols, a backpack and a bow and arrows, as well as interchangeable hands. Creditor-friendly window box packaging with double front opening flap.
