A Republican-led effort to finalize election audits in Texas and the United States is drawing attention in San Antonio.
If you drive on one of the main highways in downtown San Antonio, you’re sure to see one of 3 Republican-sponsored billboards for voting rights. The organization that operates as a component of Defending Democracy Together is calling on state lawmakers to “reject frivolous audits of the 2020 election results,” according to its website.
Billboards are along I-35 South near Caesar E Street. Chavez, from I-10 northwest to Colorado Street and Highway 281 near the pearl, according to an online map.
RVR introduced the crusade for a quarter of a million dollars, hitting static and electronic billboards in Texas, Georgia, Florida, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Virginia, Wisconsin and Arizona, as well as times Square in New York.

Defending Democracy Together is a nonprofit run by “lifelong conservatives and Republicans,” he says.
