He replaces Kevin Kleps, who left the publication.
Scalzo works at Tire Business and its sister publication, Rubber
Scalzo was a sport for The Canton Repository in Canton, Ohio, for over 4 years. He has been revered several times for his work, as well as being named sports writer of the year six times through Ohio Associated Press Media Editors.
Prior to his position at the depot, Scalzo was a reporter for The Vindicator in Youngstown, Ohio, for 14 years.
Scalzo graduated from Malone University in Canton.
