DRAMA, the Chicago-based duo, is taking a step on this year’s festival circuit. DRAMA is Via Rosa (“Via”), who leads the band, and producer/musician Na’el Shehade, who lives in the shadows on the level running on keyboards. and mixers to create the accompaniment under Via’s voice. They have their own edition of this year’s trend movement for unhappy songs. DRAMA calls his songs “happy unhappy. ” They are more melodic than rhythmic, which suits well to the strong presence of rap that suggests this type of frontman plus a DJ behind.
I ran into DRAMA at the Life is Beautiful festival in Las Vegas, where they were betting early in the evening on the Bacardi stage. There, in front of the iconic Atomic Café, DRAMA took the stage. be a singer in front of a DJ. But it soon became obvious that Na’el did more than bet pre-recorded tracks, he also created sound on the fly with a variety of virtual equipment and keyboards.
Na’el has a forged knowledge of the mechanics of travel, how to manage finances in the treacherous world of traveling gangs, and what it takes to build an exhibition without being destroyed by uncontrollable costs. He is talented and practical. These skills are the cornerstone of a long career in the acting arts. Almost anyone can pass the level, but not everyone should. Either way, it’s what happens in downtime that determines your last fortune or failure. The skills of ‘el and Via are promising. DRAMA is just the name of the level. Off the level, they are a promising partnership on an upward trajectory.
Via has a balanced presence and the ability to bring a song, which is a relief from the common experience of self-establishment. His ability to connect with the audience and deliver the exhibit is critical for DRAMA to produce larger crowds.
DRAMA’s new single, Dark Rain, is released today, October 21, 2021. They describe it as “timeless and existing with old-fashioned synthesizers, funk-laden guitar riffs, and lush futuristic soundscapes. “It’s a lot of words. My brain works faster: Dark Rain is great. You can listen to him, as well as many more of his songs in the rest of his tour.
DRAMA catches your eye. This is a band to watch live. Fortunately, they still have some screens left in the western component of their current tour. Double luck, tickets are very cheap. Get it here:
I was able to spend time with DRAMA after its functionality in Life is Beautiful and return to my podcast. Who knows what’s next? You’ll probably find me at their Halloween exhibit in my hometown of San Diego. I love the concept of a costume party. My task is to be aware, yours will have to be DRAMA. We gathered like a cup of Reese peanut butter. Together, we know the drama.
Our lively and interesting verbal exchange. It’s here in audio and video podcast format.
Before rising to the level as a singer, Via was a chef, so, following the arc of his career, there is a constant presence in his choices. Whether you’re being prepared for a meal or you’re in the spotlight, you want to be in a position to light the fireplace at all times. The strength of Via is to increase its confidence in the flames and offer a sizzling functionality. From there, we may all come out a little hungry, maybe even thirsty, but still quite satiated. sure. DRAMA is a term that is beside the case. Its functionality is not DRAMA, it is art.
