Old-fashioned occasion on Sunday the fifth of December at the historic Lindley House in Paoli

PAOLI — The Orange County Historical Society will once again host an outdated holiday occasion at the historic Lindley House in Paoli on Sunday, Dec. 5 from 2 p. m. until 4 p. m.

The nearly 170-year-old cottage will be decorated on the ground floor to reflect an undeniable Christmas beyond the 1860s and will be open for casual visits.

Robert Henderson, president of the Orange County History Society, said volunteers will participate in a demonstration of percentage data about the house.

Musical wildflowers

Hot cider and biscuits will be served.

No entrance fee will be charged, however, donations will be accepted to help the historic house site.

The space is the home of Thomas Elwood Lindley, one of Orange County’s earliest settlers, and is located off Highway 150 west on Willow Creek Road in Paoli.
