Donelan Trading Ltd of Whalley Road, Wilpshire, Blackburn, has implemented as a holiday park on a court the former Punch Bowl site in Hurst Green.
The grade II pub on the outskirts of 11th-century Longridge had been empty since 2012.
After its unresponsive demolition in June, Ribble Valley MP Nigel Evans called for a “thorough investigation” into how this happened without any obvious precautions.

The proposed holiday park is the same one that was approved in the past through the Ribble Valley City Council in October 2018, for plans to convert the pub’s construction into five holiday units, as it no longer exists.
2018 has expired as more than 3 years have passed since its approval.

In the preparation of planning documents, the caravans are called “cabins”, with two models measuring 12. 8 m x four m.
Donelan Trading’s agent states: “For the sake of consistency, it will be necessary to grant a building permit for this, as the political context in which this decision will be made remains unchanged. “
He added: “The holiday park remains precisely the same as at that time (2018) where a building permit was granted for 15 static plots/hostel.
“Static caravans/cottages would occupy the outer domain related to the old public house. Existing ones on Longridge Road would be used and adequate turning spaces would be provided within the site.
“Each caravan/hostel would have its own designated parking lot and the plans would incorporate 16 more guest parking lots. “
Access to and from the holiday park would continue to receive the existing access point on Longridge Road, west of the old indexed building.
The applicant included plans to pave the main road and use a loose, porous gravel end for the road and parking areas.
