The Marco Island Foundation for the Arts announces a new arts festival, Love The Arts Festival, on Marco Island. This special occasion will take place on Saturday, February 18 at the Marco Island Historical Museum. The Florida Stone Crabbers Association (FLSCA) will kick off its 53rd Annual Everglades Seafood Festival on February 17 in front of Everglades City Hall with a rite of passage and fireworks display. The festival will continue through the weekend, concluding at 6 p. m. on Sunday, February 19. Attendees enjoy live music, artwork by local artists, delicious seafood, bloodless drinks, and carnival rides. The festival is an annual charity occasion to benefit the Everglades City community. Admission on Friday night is free for all ages. Admission on Saturdays and Sundays is a minimum donation of $5 for adults. Children and citizens of the City of Everglades, Chokoloskee and Copeland can enjoy free admission every day. Drinks and Carnival tickets will be money only and there will be ATMs on site.
