Born in Brooklyn, New York, where he lived until age 17, Bobby earned his BA-Mass Communications from UWM in 1989 and has lived in Walker’s Point, Bay View, Enderis Park, South Milwaukee and East Side.

He has published 3 non-fiction books in Italy, adding one on one occasion in the history of Milwaukee, which was published in the United States in the fall of 2010. Four other books, all about Milwaukee, were published through The History Press.

With his most recent band, The Yell Leaders, Bobthrough has released four albums and featured songs in television episodes of “Party of Five” and “Dawson’s Creek,” and movies in Japan, South America and the United States. their dominance through VH-1 as a component of their 1998 Rock Across America tour. More recently, the band contributed tracks to a British Redskins tribute vinyl/CD and collaborated on a track with Italian novelist Enrico Remmert.

He produced 3 episodes of the “OMCD” music compilation series for OnMilwaukee. com and in 2007 produced a CD of Italian music and poetry.

In 2005, he won the Journalism Prize of the City of Asti (Italy) for his paintings in this field. He has won awards from the Milwaukee Press Club.

He can be heard weekly on 88Nine Radio Milwaukee about his “Urban Spelunking” short story series.
