For years, rumors have been circulating about The Office redesigning or rebooting, and now it’s officially happening. However, it may not be the remake you were waiting for.
An Australian edition of The Office, officially approved through series author Ricky Gervais, has been ordered en masse for Prime Video, according to Variety. Australian actress Felicity Ward will play the title character, Hannah Howard, in the series, which will be called The Office. Australia.
Howard is the head of the Flinley Craddick packaging company. The British edition of The Office featured Gervais as the head of a paper company called David Brent. For the U. S. edition, Steve Carrell played Dundler Mifflin boss Michael Scott.
