Four new attractions and resorts will open in the UK next year, with accommodations, water parks and 4D cinemas.

NOW that Christmas is us, it’s time to look beyond the bloodless months of January and February to look forward to the summer holidays.

And next year will see the opening of some major new attractions up and down the country.

From Legoland to Thorpe Park, here are the big attractions set to hit holiday parks and theme parks in the UK in the year ahead.

Everyone’s favourite holiday resort, Bultins, will recently open a holiday accommodation package worth £12 million next summer.

As part of an extensive renovation of Butlin’s Skegness, it will be called Maple Walk Village and will feature 128 accommodations.

Each hostel will have 3 bedrooms, the master with a king-size bed and a bathroom with shower. There will also be two double bedrooms, as well as a fully fitted kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge.

The new lodges will be available to book for overnight stays from May 2024.

The plastic brick-themed adventure park unveiled its latest attraction earlier in 2023 –  a brand-new Woodland Village, which is due to the public in May 2024.

130 lodges and 20 camping barrels will be on a 10-acre site.

They will be joined through the Clubhouse Restaurant

In addition to a new holiday park, there are also rumours that work is underway on a new attraction with the Legoland logo, which is also scheduled to open in 2024.

Surrey-based Thorpe Park will also launch a new logo next year.

Big Easy Boulevard will replace its Angry Birds box and will be a New Orleans-themed box with attractions and a 4D cinema.

The Detonator, the launch tower, will remain and will be renamed, as will the auto-cars.

And Hyperia, the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the UK, will also open at Thorpe Park next year.

European holiday hotel Eurocamp has plans to open 57 new parks next year.

The new parks will be across France, Spain and Italy, with water parks and beach access.

Families decide on a Eurocamp park for its affordability, some can cost as little as £175 for a week in Spain.

The park celebrated its anniversary this year.
