Is this a genuine photo of Trump and Epstein on a plane?

A symbol depicting former U. S. President Donald Trump with Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted financier and child sex trafficker who was discovered dead by suicide in 2019, has caught the attention of the internet. The symbol shows Epstein and Trump sitting next to each other in what appears to be a personal plane. While there are several original images of the two in combination (as we’ve already reported), this specific symbol was generated by synthetic intelligence (AI) software.

The symbol has been posted on X accounts (formerly Twitter), adding up to a post from the @lisa_liberal account that has more than 348,500 views and 3,800 likes (the symbol in question is shown at the bottom left).

Commenters pointed out the symbol’s questionable appearance on other X posts, with one saying, “I’m not a Trump fan, but this photo is egregiously fake. ” “Worst Photoshop/AI I’ve ever seen. Make it better,” said another.

When run through AI detection software Illuminarty, the results came back with 99.4% AI probability. When checked with Hive, another AI detection program, the result came back as 100% likely to have been AI-generated, as shown below.

Finally, when the symbol was searched with Google Images’ opposing symbol search tool, the vast majority of the effects were X posts, with the other few coming from other social media platforms. If it were an original and believable photo, other primary media would have reported on the photo and we would be able to locate the photographer or company that owns the symbol.

Dates between Epstein and Trump have long come under scrutiny, and the recent anticipation of the court-ordered release of a list of names related to Epstein intensified the spread of misinformation on the internet.
