Georgia Port Authority Approves $65 Million for Marine Terminal Improvements

The Port Authority of Georgia (GPA) has contracts totaling $65. 6 million for paints in the container yard at the Port of Savannah’s ocean terminal.

The GPA Board of Directors approved three allotment portions at the 200-acre facility, just downstream of GPA’s main container port.

These elements include soil compaction to prepare the site for container stacks, cutting an old bridge pier, and pre-installing utilities into the dock structure.
