U. S. sanctions Gaza Now online and its founder for allegedly supporting Hamas

WASHINGTON (AP) — The United States has imposed sanctions on an online media site called Gaza Now and its founder, Mustafa Ayash, for allegedly misleading Hamas. On Wednesday, the U. S. Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control said that after Hamas’ attack on Israel on Oct. 7, the online entity hosted a fundraising crusade within the militant organization.
