Nearly 400 young people participate in the Wadena Chamber’s annual Easter egg hunt

WADENA – Organized through the Wadena Area Chamber of Commerce, the annual Easter Egg Hunt took place last Saturday and approximately 400 youth flocked to Wadena-Deer Creek Middle and High School to fill their Easter baskets with treats and prizes.

More than 14,000 Easter eggs have been distributed to the school for young people aged 10 and under to find. The youngsters enjoyed a busy day with a special appearance through the Easter Bunny himself. Hundreds of young people filled the school, eager to collect eggs to fill their baskets. , and a few lucky winners won special gifts, such as a new motorcycle and a life-size bunny.

The annual Easter egg hunt is supported by many of the Chamber’s valued and generous members. Businesses and volunteers across the network donated candy, stuffed and taped Easter eggs for the annual tradition.
