Trinity Repertory Company announced its upcoming 2024-2025 season on Wednesday. The season will feature shows, in addition to the annual staging of “A Christmas Carol. “
The first two of the season are “POTUS” and “Ms. Holmes”.
The 48th edition of Trinity’s “A Christmas Carol” is coming for the holiday season, but it will be held at Trinity as the Chace Theatre will be undergoing renovations. Dates and venue will be announced at a later date.
Trinity Rep will offer the world premiere of “Someone Will Remember Us” in the new year. It is a sequel to the previous production of “Boots on the Ground”. It premieres on January 23.
William Shakespeare’s “The Tempest” runs from March 27 to April 27.
“Originally produced with Rhode Island Latino Arts for Teatro en El Verano, the organization’s summer bilingual theater program, this will be the first time a play from the program will be performed during Trinity Rep’s subscription season,” Trinity said in a statement.
Pearl Cleage’s “Blues for an Alabama Sky” will end the season and take place from May 29 to June 29.
