A small setback for the former Mountaineer receiver.
It’s never a good time for injury, however, it’s definitely not the right time for former West Virginia wide receiver Devin Carter because he’s just weeks away from the NFL Draft.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Carter underwent pivotal muscle surgery last week and his recovery will take 4-6 weeks. However, you should be in a position to participate in the minicamp.
Before being traded to West Virginia, Carter spent five years in the state of North Carolina, where he recorded 118 receptions for 1,906 yards and 10 touchdowns. In his lone season as a mountaineer, Carter led the WVU in receptions with 501 yards on 27 receptions, two for scoring.
Most of Carter’s projects will be undrafted free agents, but there’s a small chance he’ll make it to the final round.
