Macbeth with Ralph Fiennes and Indira Varma: Watch an excerpt from the theatrical release

The site-specific revival of Macbeth, directed by Ralph Fiennes and Indira Varma, will be screened in theaters next month: get a first look at an excerpt from the film and behind-the-scenes photographs.

The show, which toured across the UK last autumn and this spring, will be screened in cinemas around the world from 2 May by Trafalgar Releasing, in association with Wessex Grove and Underbelly.

In addition to Fiennes and Varma, the two protagonists are Ben Allen as Ross, Ewan Black as Malcolm, Levi Brown as Angus, Jonathon Case as Seyton, Danielle Fiamanya as the Second Witch, Keith Fleming as King Duncan/Siward, Michael Hodgson as the Second Assassin. Mangan as the First Witch, Jake Neads as the First Assassin/Donalbain, Richard Pepper as Lennox, Steffan Rhodri as Banquo, Rose Riley as Menteith, Lola Shalam as the Third Witch, Rebecca Scroggs as Lady Macduff/Doctor, Ethan Thomas as Fleance, and Ben Turner as Macduff.

It is adapted through Emily Burns, while the set and costume design is by Frankie Bradshaw, the design by Jai Morjaria and the sound design by Christopher Shutt. The composer is Asaf Zohar, with the sound formula design by Christopher Shutt and Sam Clarkson. The Motion Director is Lucy Cullingford, the Hair, Makeup, and Prosthetics Designer is Susanna Peretz, the Combat Director is Kate Waters, the Casting Director is Amy Ball CDG, and the Child Casting Director is Ellie Collyer-Bristow CDG.

The Vocal and Dialect Coach is Jeannette Nelson, the Associate Director is Alice Wordsworth, the Associate Set Designer is Ceci Calf, the Associate Costume Designer/Costume Director is Olivia Ward, the Associate Designer is Tom Turner, and the Casting Associate is Arthur Carrington.
