Inhuman feats of strength, herculean efforts, and weights so heavy that an average user can lift them barely an inch off the ground are familiar attractions in a strongman competition.
The occasion to crown the toughest guy on Earth is celebrated only once a year, and Myrtle Beach is the setting for this guy’s coronation in 2024.
The World’s Strongest Man will take place in Myrtle Beach from May 1-5, 2024, and many will be attending the event or stopping by and seeing some of the action. Before you get started, here’s what you want to know about the world’s strongest man. Contest 2024.
The World’s Strongest Man 2024 will take place at the Burroughs
Tickets went on sale on February 14, 2024, but general admission weekly and day passes and VIP features are still available. Single-day general admission passes from May 1-2 are $55, $95 for one-day passes from May 4-5, and $300 for a full-week general admission pass. VIP tickets from $200 to $900 for a day pass or full week.
At the same time as the contest, Ocean Boulevard in downtown Myrtle Beach will be closed between 8th and 9th Avenue North, impacting traffic. The 2024 edition of The World’s Strongest Man will include events such as the Car Walk, where athletes drive the chassis of a car on their backs. Keg Toss, an event in which athletes throw barrels at a predetermined height. Conan’s Wheel, an event in which athletes travel by car. a bowl with stones in a circle until they can’t take it anymore – and other times.
