Trump Campaign Donor Website Crashes After Guilty Verdict

Trump began soliciting donations following his felony conviction almost without delay after the verdict.

WinRed, the payment processor for Republican campaign donations, collapsed after former President Donald J. was convicted of a felony. Trump, a technical glitch that his campaign attributed to the number of other people seeking to donate in the immediate aftermath of the verdict.

“So many Americans were pressured to donate to President Trump’s crusade that WinRed’s pages were shut down,” Trump’s crusade said on a social media platform.

The online page no longer displays an error message when visiting the donation page for the Trump campaign, it is unclear if the online page is working properly and processing donations. The Trump campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Trump began soliciting donations following his felony conviction almost without delay after reading the verdict in the Manhattan courtroom. Speaking on his social media site, Truth Social, Trump posted links to the crusade’s website; redirected you to the WinRed page, which is not working properly.

This donation page features a giant symbol of Mr. S. Trump, taken in Atlanta after Trump arrived at the Fulton County Jail as part of his criminal case in Georgia, with the caption “He will never give up. “The page also describes Trump as a “political prisoner” and calls on “TEN MILLION pro-Trump patriots” to donate until the end of the day.
