“In such difficult circumstances, artists have limited opportunities to expand and showcase their creativity; they want support,” says Mykolay Serha, director of Desant Culturel.

To date, the project has produced fourteen episodes, with all tracks recorded in the mobile studio near the combat zone. Viewers can sing along on the Music of the Cultural Forces YouTube channel to watch episodes hosted by Serha and Oleksandr Chemerov.

“Almost all of the filming took place near the front line and our microphones picked up the sounds of the battle,” Chemerov said.

The team visited several emotionally charged war sites across Ukraine, including Specialized School No. 134 in ruins in Kharkiv and the desolate Church of the Ascension in the village of Lukashivka, as well as the Orihiv Monument.

The project features a wide diversity of musical genres, from rock romances and ballads to lullabies, punk, opera, and rap. Throughout the summer, as new episodes are released on YouTube, all the songs will also be available on major streaming platforms.
