Occitanie U18 have had a very smart run. This team is made up of the inmates of the sports segment of the Clément-Marot de Cahors high school: Jordane Molinié, Elora Hénot, Ninon Conéjéro, Camille Paulo, Salomé Murat, Louise Villars, Lilou Lucianaz, Nola Segonne and Ambre Picot. Pradines Lot Basket is the team’s leading club in the Occitanie championship at the regional level.
This training is delivered through Eldon Keïta, assisted by Stéphanie Lucianaz in the training. In the first phase, two groups of 8 organizations were formed, with the top 3 from each group moving on to the top group. The Lotoises finished 2nd in their organization, Auch and the striker from Tarbes. In the other group, Montpellier, Saint-Gély and Colomiers qualified to be components of this organization of six organizations.
At the end of this second phase, the Coccinelles were still in 2nd position, ahead of Tarbes and Montpellier, which gives them access to the semi-finals that will be played in a two-legged match on Saturdays 25 May and 1 June. In this semi-final first leg, the Pradinoises will face Tarbes and play the first match away from home, while the second leg is scheduled in Cahors on Saturday, June 1 at 2:30 p. m. , at the Palais des Sports; the other side will face Montpellier and Auch. The final is scheduled for June 8 in Montauban and we hope with all our hearts that the Red & Blacks will be among the qualifiers!
But to do so, they will have to win overall against Tarbes and the Ers are expected to arrive in large numbers into this united and motivated group, especially as the final results remain uncertain, having finished the last meetings between the two groups in Phase 1. in an away win and a home win for the Lotoises.
