North Bethesda, Maryland Earning a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and Professional Writing

Especially with everything going on in the world, American academics want to see life from another perspective. I can take a look at what makes America America, from a foreign area, and have other perspectives that I’ve never had before.

On my first visit to campus, I felt that the students were showing exactly what Concordia offers: a very varied, open-minded and open-hearted area.

Los Angeles, California, pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce and Finance

I wanted to have the experience of leaving home to go to school and I wanted to study abroad and have the opportunity to speak French. For me, Montreal is an obvious choice.

I chose Concordia because it has a perfect business school. John Molson has a very professional vibe, but everyone is very friendly.   All my categories have only 30-50 students, which is good, because we don’t hesitate to ask questions. It is a wonderful environment to live in.

Irmo, South Carolina Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Chemistry Pursuing a Ph. D. in Chemistry

A friend of mine was doing her college homework in the Lanthanide Research Group and I became interested after hearing about her work. I started running in the lab in my junior year of undergrad, first as a study assistant and then to complete my specialized assignment. I enjoyed the studies so much that I sought to stay there to pursue a higher degree!

Concordia is more like a circle of relatives than a simple school. They are all very helpful and friendly and that is what made me need to stay here to continue my higher education.

Highland Mills, Stingers quarterback with MBA from New York

Montreal is a gateway to culture, concepts, and opportunities. Getting into Concordia’s highly rated business school was the icing on the cake. I helped launch a crowdfunding crusade for a District 3 (D3) startup and continued to expand my own business concepts. Somehow, I’ve had the thrill of running with some mentors.

If you are not yet a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, you can apply for your examination visa as soon as you get an offer of admission from the university. Concordia’s International Student Office can help you every step of the way.
