The Steam PC edition of ‘The Last Of Us Part 2’ has leaked online, with an unexpected detail

I have deeply mixed emotions about Naughty Dog’s The Last Of Us Part II, a game that is either a masterpiece or an overwhelming disappointment; A game of intense beauty and even more intense ugliness. A game, as its artistic director Neil Druckmann once said, “about hate”. (My opinion).

Still, as with all Sony PC ports, I can’t wait to replay the game (and check it back) as far as Steam is concerned.

Now, according to the ever-reliable leaker (often from the PS Plus range) Billbil-kun of Dealabs, the PC edition of the game is almost finished. In fact, this is surprising, given that we have hardly heard anything about it. upon the arrival of the game on Steam.

The challenge is that Sony would possibly keep it off the market to release it closer to the release of HBO’s The Last Of Us season 2, given that the PC port would have possibly been largely finished in November 2023. It’s speculation, but it makes sense. The Pedro Pascal/Bella Ramsey-directed TV series may not premiere until 2025, so we have some time to wait for that and for an imaginable PC release of The Last Of Us Part II.

The Last Of Us Part II Remastered was released a few months ago with mixed reactions. The game has some new and attractive features, but it doesn’t have the same degree of graphical overhaul as The Last Of Us Part I remake.

As for the program, it’s pretty smart, not as smart as Fallout or Arcane, but it’s still wonderful in its own right. The casting of Kaitlyn Dever as Abby is the most engaging thing we’ve learned about the show, basically because she’s so much like Ellie from the games!
