Dar Global, a foreign luxury real estate developer, has announced Trump International Oman’s participation in its vast AIDA project, adding a golf course to Trump’s global portfolio.
The developers of this site are poised to set new criteria for luxury hospitality and tourism in Oman.
Last June, Donald Trump Jr. visited the Middle East to learn about the Trump Organization’s plans in the region.
This sparked controversy online, with users expressing considerations about investing in Trump’s projects in Oman.
Newsweek reached out to a member of the Trump Organization for comment.
The project, which covers a vast domain of 3. 5 million square meters, is one of the largest high-end mixed-use real estate developments in the world.
This $500 million investment represents a breakthrough in Oman’s real estate sector.
Trump International Oman, scheduled to open in December 2028, will feature a 140-room hotel with accommodations, adding hanging suites, furnished villas and serviced apartments, according to Construction Week Online.
Facilities will include a private beach, an 18-hole championship golf course, a members-only club, and the Cliff Hanging nightclub.
The hotel is being developed in collaboration with the Trump Organization and the Omran Group, Oman’s tourism development arm, and is strategically atop a hill more than a hundred meters high, offering perspectives of the surrounding canyons and beaches, according to the Oman Observer.
Ziad El Chaar, CEO of Dar Global, said of the project: “With all due respect to the projects in Oman, this one stands out in terms of integration and breadth,” according to the Oman Observer. “The Trump International Golf Course, one of the largest in the region, along with an extensive members-only club, sets a new standard,” he said.
Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, added: “This venture underscores our shared commitment to delivering iconic luxury reports for discerning travelers and investors, while elevating Oman’s prestige as a leading global destination,” according to the Oman Observer.
The first phase of the project, which basically includes residential units, is almost sold out and is expected to be delivered within 30 months, according to the Oman Observer.
The first phase of AIDA’s allocation is progressing and is expected to be completed in 2027. The resort’s golf course is quickly becoming an attraction, designed to meet the highest criteria and golf in general revels in its challenging terrain and state-of-the-art technology. art installations, according to Trump Real Estate.
Trump International Oman is the latest addition to Trump’s extensive collection of golf courses around the world. Notable examples are the Trump National Doral in Miami, the Trump Turnberry in Scotland, and the Trump International Golf Club in Dubai.
These courses are known for their sumptuous setting and premium prices, ranging from $150 to $500 per round, depending on location and season, according to Trump Real Estate.
As AIDA’s mission progresses, it has the potential to bring Oman’s tourism landscape to life and attract foreign visitors and investors.
This reflects the trend in the development of luxury real estate projects in the Gulf region, driven through strategic partnerships and a commitment to excellence in hospitality and tourism, according to the Oman Observer.
