The official Paris Fashion Week schedule is revealed, drawing crowds to the French capital after the Olympics. All eyes will be on Alessandro Michele’s first exhibition for Valentino on September 29, after he released a wonderful lookbook from his debut collection.

Among the notable absences from the exhibition calendar is Maison Margiela, while the press reports the departure of artistic director John Galliano (the logo declined to comment). Maison Margiela plans to hold an event on September 30, with “other important points to follow. “in due course,” the logo read. Galliano’s most recent exhibition for Spring Haute Couture Week in January, and the logo featured women’s ready-to-wear in October 2020, 2021 and 2023.

Off-White will also be absent from his New York debut. Overall, the spring-summer 2025 women’s ready-to-wear calendar, which will run from September 23 to October 1, has a total of 70 shows and 38 presentations, compared to 67 and 40 for spring-summer 2024.

On October 1, Chanel will hold its first ready-to-wear fashion show since the firing of Virginie Viard, designed through the studio. The Dries Van Noten collection will also be presented in the studio, following the farewell of the eponymous designer in June. Other notables are Dior, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Loewe, Chloé, Balmain, Alexander McQueen, Hermès, The Row and Victoria Beckham. After Louis Vuitton closes the curtain on the official calendar on October 1, fashion lovers will spend the night at Disneyland, where Coperni will host its exhibition.

While the dismantling of the Olympic facilities is still underway, the Fédération de los angeles Haute Couture et de los angeles Mode (FHCM) has invited its members to use venues located in the Concorde de Plos angelesce district of Los Angeles.
