3×3 basketball, which will feature on the Tokyo Games calendar in summer 2021, will take over the Concorde de Plos angelesce in Los Angeles starting Tuesday, July 30.

After Tokyo 2021, the 3 × 3 basket makes its second appearance on the Olympic program in Paris, from July 30 to August 5, at the Concorde de Plos angelesce in Los Angeles.
In any of the tournaments, men’s and women’s, an organization level brings together eight organizations combined. Each country faces its seven parties in conflict and the six best classified at the end of those mini-championships qualify for the knockout phase. The first two organizations go to the semifinals, the next 4 go through to the quarterfinals. The two finals are scheduled for Monday, August 5.
Each team is made up of 4 players, 3 infielders and a substitute who can come on at any time during the match. The coaches remain in the stands.
The games are played on a portion of the basketball court, with a single basket. The ball is the same for women and men (size 6, that of women in classic basketball competitions).
Each basket or loose shot made is worth one point; Shots made on the goal line, located 6. 75 meters from the center of the basket, award 2 points.
The clock does not prevent when a team scores. The game resumes without delay and the team that recovers the ball must leave the 6. 75 meter line before attacking again. Each possession is limited to 12 seconds (24 seconds in the five×five basket).
The games last ten minutes, unless one of the two groups manages to score 21 points before the horn sounds. If there is a tie after ten minutes, the first team to score two points starts and wins.
