For the second month in a row, sports topped our list of the fastest growing sports in July, compiled in cooperation with Similarweb. U. S. policy has also generated significant gains.

NBC’s streaming service peacocktv. com saw a 79. 5 percent increase in traffic, at least in part due to its Olympic policy.
On the political front, actblue. com, which boosts budget for US Democratic Party candidates, rose 193. 3% in the month Kamala Harris replaced Joe Biden as the party’s presidential candidate. presidential. Audiences on Democratic-leaning news sites also increased, with rawstory. com up 119. 9% and msnbc. com up 85. 9%.
Meanwhile, fivethirtyeight. com’s number of exclusives rose to 97. 6% – the site’s collection and research of ballot effects is addictive for political news junkies.
Only two of the 10 fastest growing have no compatibility between the sports and political model: ideal. nl, an invoice network, and hoyolab. com, a virtual gaming network website.

This report is based on a study of the 2,000 most crawled websites through Similarinternet, ranked according to monthly growth in mobile and desktop internet traffic. The effects have filtered into spaces that do not constitute a true business expansion.
The sports craze fueled the biggest expansion on the internet in June, with tons of football (or soccer)-related traffic, but with Cricket World Cup website icc-cricketArraycom at the most sensible place on the list .
Traffic to icc-cricket. com increased by 284. 4% from May to June and by 504. 7% until last June. The T20 Cricket World Cup 2024 ended in June with a victory for India.
Outside of sports, all of the sites ranked were also loyal to news and entertainment: three offered video streaming and one was dedicated to gaming.
Produced through Similarweb in partnership with Tech Radar Pro, this rating is based on month-over-month (MoM) growth in unique visitors to the world’s 2000 smartest websites. For added context, we also share totals and replacements year-over-year. The list was filtered to exclude and spam sites, as well as sites that we couldn’t access when we tried to verify them.
Although those sites had a particularly smart traffic month in June, they all also demonstrated a more sustainable year-over-year gain. Traffic to German sports site Kicktipp (kicktipp. de) increased by 1,301. 2% year-on-year.

Election Season Surge
Lalluram. com has enjoyed renewed interest around the upcoming election, which peaked in mid-May and faded after its effects were announced.
Last month, cryptocurrencies saw a surge in visitor numbers due to Bitcoin’s newfound popularity in the news. This month we saw a dramatic increase in user interest in Web3, the 3. 0 edition of the blockchain-based internet, which is decentralized and emphasizes token-based economies.

SEMrush data from October reveals a wide diversity of fast-developing websites. In particular, e-commerce giants such as Amazon. it and Amazon. in are recording growth rates of 30. 1% and 15. 2%, respectively, reflecting the growing demand for online shopping. The telecommunications sector is also on the rise: Airtel. in is growing at a rate of 22. 3%, driven by the increased demand for virtual connectivity. In addition, the news industry shines thanks to Internet sites such as Hurriyet. com. tr and TheSun. co. uk, indicating an increased demand for credible news sources. These internet sites cater to real estate, social media, and discounted price searches, respectively. Their expansion is strongly related to the growing demand for them in the virtual age.
