The Canadian company Bluesound has added 3 new models to its NODE line of wireless music transmitters. The 3 new models are the NODE NANO, the NODE and the NODE ICON. All 3 transmitters feature redesigned hardware and new audio features.
The flagship NODE ICON transmitter has a slim and compact style, while the NODE NANO is the ideal entry-level transmitter with the must-haves needed to turn an existing audio into a virtual broadcast hub. Finally, NODE is a remastering of the brand’s original high-resolution wireless music transmitter and features an all-new DAC ESS SABRE for ultra-clean processing and improved performance.
The flagship NODE ICON is Bluesound’s new reference model for wireless music streaming and features a five-inch color display as a dual mono DAC that combines two DACs ESS sabre.
The NODE NANO will be available internationally starting August 20, while the NODE can be pre-ordered and is expected to ship until September 24. The NODE ICON will begin shipping on November 15.

The new NODE family is a flexible variety of wireless music transmitters that feature an ultra-transparent signal track with a circuit design that uses power and isolation to prevent unwanted noise and distortion. The NODE and NODE ICON models use THX AAA generation headphones with linear response. Patented early error correction delivers audio with very little noise and distortion. NODE and NODE ICON feature full-size 1/4″ headphone jacks, while NODE ICON features left and right jacks for optimal cable management.
The NODE NANO has two presets on its front panel, but its design is more undeniable.
NODE and NODE ICON are able to use Dirac Live Room Correction, an update that can be obtained directly from Dirac by purchasing a license.
