FORT HUNTER – Schoharie Crossing State Historic Site has announced the return of its annual ROCK the LOCK music series for 2024.
The series continues with performances Saturday afternoon at the Erie Canal Historic Site, offering a mix of local and regional musical performances. Events begin at 1 p. m. every day outdoors at the Visitor Center.
On August 24, attendees will enjoy a headlining exhibition with the Greg Bucking Band alongside Becca Frame and the Tall Boys. The series will end on August 31 with
Jon Wager opening for the band SIRSY.
Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and dress for outdoor conditions. The Schoharie Crossing Welcome Center, located at 129 Schoharie Street in Fort Hunter, will serve as the venue for the concerts.
