GRUNDY CENTER – Grundy County fire crews responded to a smokestack at a Bitcoin mining facility west of Grundy Center Sunday night.

Firefighters from Wellsburg, Holland and Grundy Center responded to a call at the MiningStore facility just north of the Highway 14/175 interchange, about 8 miles west of Grundy Center around 6:15 p. m. m. Sunday night, according to Chase Babcock, Grundy County Emergency. Management Coordinator.
