“Wicked” will arrive in virtual format in January

‘Wicked’ is coming to digital platforms to buy or rent on 3rd January 2025, it has been announced, courtesy of Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.

The virtual edition comes with a bonus doing a song edit, a 40-minute adventure through Oz that celebrates the transformer on screen, deleted scenes, and much more when you acquire to engage the Nationalarray virtual stores by adding Sky Store Premiere, Amazon Prime Video, and Apple TV.

One of the most beloved musicals, “Wicked” has been adapted for the big screen through director Jon M. Chu (“Crazy Rich Asians”) and stars Cynthia Erivo (“Harriet”) as Elphaba, a misunderstood young man who has not yet realized His true power, and Ariana Grande as Glinda, a popular young woman who has not yet noticed her true heart.

The two are at the University of Shiz and shape an unlikely friendship, before their lives take other paths after an encounter with the glorious magician of Oz. His ordinary adventures will see them satisfy their destiny as the evil witch of the West and Glinda The Good. Wicked is an immersive cultural birthday party that needs to delight backs!

Based on the stage play with music and lyrics by the legendary Grammy and Oscar winning composer and lyricist Stephen Schwartz, ‘Wicked’ also stars Michelle Yeoh (‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’), Jonathan Bailey (‘Bridgerton’), Ethan Slater (Broadway’s ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’), Marissa Bode, Peter Dinklage (‘Game of Thrones’), and Jeff Goldblum (‘Jurassic Park’).
