Kennewick, WA. – The 2d Harvest mobile market in the Tri-Cities on Thursday, February 20.
The popular loose food distribution site is being set up at the gates of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Four5th Avenue in Kennewick, where organizers say they saw their largest turnout for the location, as drive-thru lines first arrived about four hours before the food began to be scattered.
“We had only about a hundred cars when we arrived. I mean, we’re busy and the need for food is still higher overall, however (it was) definitely higher. I think other people just know that they can accept so true with that we’re going to give them the food they want,” said Aaron Brown, a team member with a 2D crop on the cell market site rate. If you unfortunately end up leaving without food, that’s okay. You can lean into your local pantry or we do it 3 to 4 days a week. Next Week, for example, we have 3 local events. The ones you feel you love. “
Each cell market is provided to feed at least 250 families with new products, grains, proteins, and more.
